Description
Mittera Group is looking for an excellent Corporate Trainer to help motivate, guide and train employees to maximize their efficiency, their abilities and their happiness.  

The Corporate Trainer is responsible for assessment of training needs, development and delivery of effective training content, measurement of training outcomes, and management of training-related records for the organization. This individual will work closely with managers at the local and corporate level to ensure employees receive appropriate and effective job-related training to cultivate their skills and knowledge and perform at their maximum potential. The Corporate Trainer is also responsible for deployment of effective and up-to-date training methodologies. The Corporate Trainer will work directly with the Director of Training and Development to strategize, develop. and implement training solutions. 

Specific responsibilities include:
  • Liaise with managers to assess training needs and identify solutions
  • Identify and procure or design effective training programs to address needs
  • Conduct seminars, workshops, and/or individual training sessions to deliver content and impart new knowledge/skills
  • Work with managers to ensure employees understand the goals and protocols of the specific job/company
  • Work closely with individuals and evaluate how well employees have learned
  • Ensure accurate recordkeeping to document all training
  • Prepare training analysis and reporting and present to executive team and Director of Training and Development as requested
  • Determine, recommend, and document instructional standards & strategies and evaluation plans for the business
  • Conduct needs assessments of departments to identify training gaps and partner with supervisors and department experts to determine a training plan that will increase associate knowlege and drive employee engagement
  • Assess the need for and develop job aids, content, materials, and learning activities in collaboration with SME's and management
  • Work independently and manage training projects from initiation to closure using the ADDIE model 
  • Develop courses for web-based learning solutions using Articulate Storyline
The kind of experience and skills we’re looking for are:
  • Bachelor's degree in related field, plus 3-5 years of experience in training needs assessment and content delivery
  • Experience in commercial printing, marketing/communications or advertising is a plus
  • Certification (e.g. CPLP or similar) is a plus
  • Critical thinking and decision making
  • Proficient in MC Office, e-learning software is an asset
  • Strong communication, presentation and public speaking skills 
  • Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision
  • Experience in articulate storyline highly preferred
  • Ability to create training for a wide variety of positions and fields 
Mittera Group is a multi-platform communications company with over 750 employees across multiple companies and offices.  Travel up to 25% is required.
